Hi everyone!! My name is Lori and I am so excited to be in this group of wonderful ladies!!!
I am very happily married to a wonderful and supportive husband! We have a yours mine and ours. He had a son and daughter, I had 2 sons and together we have 1 son and a granddaughter that will be 1 in March!! I am a part time Administrative Assistant to a great boss!!! I have been crafting in one way or another for as long as I can remember, my first addictions were macrame and latch hook!
About 8 years ago I worked with a lady that made the most beautiful cards, I was in awe!! She made it look so easy!!! From time to time she brought in a big catalog and I wanted it all, except I didn't like that I couldn't buy single stamps! Each time she had a party I would buy a set here and there but not knowing where to start. I started surfing the web and found Splitcoaststampers. I was hooked. It wasn't long after I found the most beautiful cards using Papertrey stamps. I had to have them. I bought for a long time but was scared to use them. Crazy huh?! Now it is rare that I don't think of a Papertrey set when sitting down to create!
Now that our kids are just about all grown and aren't running to many activities, I also like to cross stitch, volunteer for our car club, go to car shows and watch NASCAR racing!!

It is great to find our more about you and your family. It is not crazy at all about your not using your stamps. I have lots of boxes of PTI stamps still sitting here unused too.
So nice to meet you! You sound like you have a very 'active' life and I love the picture of you with the water in the background. I'm wishing for warmer weather right now.
Aww nice to 'meet' ya, Lori! I love your pic, you have such a nice smile! I too rarely don't think of a PTI set when creating - good job we're in this group! I'm so looking forward to your challenge!
I'm picking up on a theme here . . . you like cars? Does PTI need to create a NASCAR set just for you? So nice to meet you and going to look forward to getting to know you better. through this group.
Nice to know you a bit more! I'm so glad te be in this wonderful group!! :-)
Hi Lori from your fellow only child. Thanks so much for your kind comments on my blog. Hope your Dad is doing well. I'm eagerly anticipating your kick off of our challenges. This is all so new to me, but I know it's going to be tons of fun. As I lift my glass of wine - Here's to the start of some great challenges and even better friendships!
Hi Lori! It is so nice to be able to read your intro and learn a little more about you. You sound like a very busy person. I always enjoy your blog and am amazed that you can post so many wonderful creations. I am so excited about our group and know it will be a lot of fun! Hugs!!
I'm so happy to know you a little more, thank you very much
It's great to learn more about you. I've also done macrame, latch hook, and cross stitch.
It's wonderful to 'meet' you Lori! I can't believe how often you create new cards! - WHERE do you find the time????
LOL, I can totally relate to wishing stamps were sold individually! It used be a source of frustration for me as well... LOL, didn't take long for me to get over that though, and my SU! collection was waaaay out of hand!
wow, another busy Peep! you'd love my neighbor, he's an antique car collector and has 4 in his garage that are gorgeous. heck, you might have met him at some car shows...
